MOBILITY

No. The historic city centre is almost impossible to get through by car. It is primarily a pedestrian area and it is worth walking to explore it and enjoy it to the full. If your intention is strictly that of moving from one place to another, we recommend using public transport.

2. Is there a Subway in Barcelona? How much does it cost?

Barcelona is a city with very good bus and Subway communications. For travelling within Barcelona, the cost of a single-trip ticket is of 1.20 euros. The cost of a T10 ticket (of 10 trips) is of 6.65 euros and the cost of a “Tdía” (an unlimited number of trips within a day) is of 5.00 euros.

There is indeed a tourist BUS in Barcelona where you can get on and off as many times as you please and thus get to know all the places of interest in Barcelona.
