 The light colour scheme throughout, including the wood-parquet, is chosen in keeping with the completely renovated, comfortable and luminous setting. As there is very little through traffic in the area, this is furthermore a quiet choice for spending your days in this intense and exciting city.

 El Raval is a vibrant area with a plethora of bars, restaurants and night-clubs. And to enjoy a cup of coffee or have breakfast in the open you need only step out onto La Rambla del Raval. It is also just a short-walk to the other, more famous “ramblas”: Las Ramblas.In addition to being an attraction in itself you'll find the Teatre del Liceu here - opera house -, and shop for delicacies at the extraordinary Mercat de La Boquería, both which are located close to the flat. When walking in the direction of Las Ramblas from the top of Rambla del Raval it is not a bad idea turning left into C/ Riera Baixa one of the city's more interesting streets for shopping wines and second-hand clothes (and records as well). Moreover, the flat is located midway between interesting cultural institutions like the Museo d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona MACBA - The Museum of Contemporary Art - and the Museu Marítim - Maritime Museum,which makes, starting your Barcelona explorations on foot, an easy choice.

PARKING

If you are coming by car we let you know there are several parkings nearby. There is a parking close to the apartment (5 minutes on foot, 350 m.) which has a price of 57 euros for 3 nights, 85 euros for 5 nights and 102 euros for 7 nights. We think it's a good price because it's not easy to park in the street in Barcelona city center and parkings have an average price +/- 25-40 euros per day. Valid prices during 2010.
