The apartment has a touch of the rustic with the typical Catalan tile ceilings and brick walls mixed with a contemporary interior. The floors have a fair-coloured wood parquet and all amenities have been upgraded to satisfy the discerning guest. There is colourful contemporary art on the walls and “splotches” of vivid colour choices throughout to create an inspiring space. The kitchen is a practical, well-equipped working space, and the bathroom a pleasant and relaxing one. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds and the third has a single thus making the accommodation a practical choice for couples on vacation together or a family (there is also a baby-cot at hand).
Poble Sec is an area that still has a feel of “village” about it – in fact it used to be one before Barcelona became a modern metropolis. A perfect location for those wishing easy access (by foot or one or two stops by metro) to the central attractions like Las Ramblas, The Liceu Opera, Palau Güell, Montjuïc (with the Museu Nacional, the Olympic Park, Museu Fundació Joan Miró etc. Visiting those attractions that aren´t in the immediate vicinity is an effortless affair with the accommodation being so close to the transportation point Plaza Eapanya. The neighbourhoods otherwise provides what you need for the daily life, market supermarket, pharmacies, bakeries etc. Furthermore, there are several very good dining options in the area that should not be ignored despite the proximity to the wealth of options in the Barcelona Old City.
